22:16. కాని ఇలా అన్నాడు: “నీవు ఈ మాటలు యెహోవా శక్తితో చెప్పటం లేదు. ఇది నీ ఊహాగానం. అందువల్ల నాకు నిజం చెప్పు! నేనేం చేయాలో యెహోవా శక్తి ఆధారంగా నాకు తెలియజెప్పు! ఎన్నిసార్లు నేను నీకు చెప్పాను!”

22:16. అందుకు రాజునీచేత ప్రమాణము చేయించి యెహోవా నామమునుబట్టి నిజమైన మాటలే నీవు నాతో పలుకవలసినదని నేనెన్ని మారులు నీతో చెప్పితిని అని రాజు సెలవియ్యగా

22:16. The king said to him, "How many times must I make you solemnly promise in the name of the LORD to tell me only the truth?"

22:16. But the king replied sharply, "How many times must I demand that you speak only the truth to me when you speak for the LORD?"

22:16. And the king said unto him, How many times shall I adjure thee that thou speak unto me nothing but the truth in the name of Jehovah?

22:16. But the king said to him, "How many times shall I make you swear that you speak to me nothing but the truth in the name of the LORD?"

22:16. And the king said unto him, How many times shall I adjure thee that thou tell me nothing but [that which is] true in the name of the LORD?

22:16. But the king said to him, "How many times shall I adjure you that you speak to me nothing but the truth in the name of the LORD?"

22:16. And the king said unto him, How many times shall I adjure thee that thou speak unto me nothing but the truth in the name of the LORD?

22:16. And the king saith unto him, `How many times am I adjuring thee that thou speak nothing unto me but truth in the name of Jehovah?`

22:16. But Ahab answered, "How many times do I have to tell you? Tell me the truth. What does the Lord say!"

22:16. The king said to him, How many times shall I adjure you that you speak to me nothing but the truth in the name of Yahweh?
